The Crown Jewel of Coastline Serenity
Comprehensive House Rules & Safety Protocol
To ensure a seamless, safe, and tranquil experience for all our guests and to protect the natural beauty of the Kleinmond biosphere, we kindly ask that you strictly adhere to the following enforced protocols.
1. Arrival & Departure Timings
We maintain a rigorous cleaning and sanitization schedule to ensure every unit meets our professional standards.
Check-In: Strictly after 14:00 PM. Early check-ins cannot be accommodated as our teams require this time to prepare your sanctuary.
Check-Out: Strictly before 10:00 AM. Delayed departures disrupt our turnover process for arriving guests and may incur additional fees.
2. Essential Resource Conservation
Kleinmond is situated in a sensitive ecological zone. We ask our guests to be "Eco-Conscious" travelers:
Water Usage: Use water sparingly. Due to critical dam levels and municipality restrictions, please keep showers brief and avoid unnecessary waste.
Electricity: Help us reduce our carbon footprint. Turn off all lights and air-conditioning units whenever you leave the unit or when not in use.
3. Firewood & Braai Protocol
Usage Fee: We provide a bulk supply of approximately 200 pieces of firewood for your convenience. If used, a flat fee of R250.00 must be settled via EFT before departure, Ask for Banking Details via WhatsApp. Alternative: You are welcome to bring or buy your own firewood.
Safety & Ash Disposal: Never leave a fire unattended. Ensure the braai is completely extinguished before leaving the area or retiring for the night. Do not dispose of hot ashes in the garden or dustbins.
4. Rest, Silence & Local Regulations
In accordance with Government Noise Control Regulations and to respect the quiet coastal atmosphere of our community:
Quiet Hours: Please respect the silence between 10:00 PM and 08:00 AM.
Policy: No loud music, shouting, or excessive noise is allowed at any time. We maintain a quiet environment for the sake of neighbours and other guests. Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction without a refund.
5. Security & Entry/Exit Liability
Your safety and the security of the property are our highest priorities:
Lock-Up Policy: Whenever you leave the unit—even for a short walk—or when going to sleep, all windows must be closed and all doors must be double-locked.
Access: Ensure the main gates are securely closed behind you immediately upon entering or exiting.
Parking: Please utilize the off-street parking provided directly in front of the Garage but more to your Right Side as Garage is still being Utilized. All facilities are used at the guest's own risk.
